The Heart of StillePoint
StillePoint Studio is a creative and contemplative initiative founded by New Zealand artist Karen Sewell, emerging from her wider practice exploring light, spirit, and transformation.
Conceived as both a physical and conceptual gathering space, StillePoint invites artists, musicians, poets, and writers to collaborate in immersive events that blend sound, word, and visual experience.
Each gathering unfolds in places imbued with resonance — from domestic interiors and historic and other spaces and landscapes — where stillness and atmosphere become active participants.
The studio’s name evokes that poised moment of calm within movement, the axis where art, sound, and spirit meet.
At StillePoint, audiences are invited not merely to observe but to inhabit presence: to rest, to listen, and to encounter the quiet grace that underlies the visible world.
Through these gatherings, Sewell continues her exploration of the numinous — holding space for reflection, connection, and renewal.
