Luminary XR: Soundscape of Space and Sea merges real sounds from NASA’s Voyager spacecraft — recorded as it travelled around planets in our solar system — with field recordings of the ocean. Through this fusion of cosmic and earthly frequencies, artist Karen Sewell creates an immersive, meditative environment where the depths of the sea and the vastness of space echo one another. The soundscape expands the Luminary series into virtual form, inviting audiences to listen to the elemental harmonies that connect water, air, light, and the unseen.
